Background: A Chinese class is currently offered by Columbia Adult Education. The response has been very positive. CFC has made great progress with Columbia Public Schools as detailed in these minutes. Columbia Independent School has expresses interest and is seeking resumes for people who are interested in teaching Chinese in their school. No teaching license is required. We will need your inputs and assistance to support the effort of teaching Chinese in Columbia. We have a lot of planning to do.
Agenda: Progress report on Columbia Public School (Ms. Lynda Linneman, EEE teacher from Smithton). Curriculum planning for 6th grade Encore classes. Seeing grants and funding for teaching Chinese in schools. Organizing volunteers to support this effort.
